Cube Van Driver

Our Driver must be at least 18 years of age. A regular full class "G" licence is required.

Our Driver works split day shifts averaging approximately 30 hours+ per week (some weeks more and less). Days off are scheduled on a different day each week. He/she must be able to demonstrate general driving experience, be able to maneuver a 17 ft. diesel cube van (approx. 23 ft. incl. cab) in heavy traffic and to be able to reverse it in very small spaces. An offer of employment will be conditional on a successful pass of Exer-Clean's driving test, in such a truck, which will be scheduled well in advance of the summer contract.

Our Driver is responsible for daytime pick-up and delivery to destinations including Algonquin Park, Rosseau and Bancroft. The Driver is also a public relations person for the company and as such must have the ability to exercise diplomacy and exhibit a professional courteous manner at all times. Punctuality is critical as is accountability for all paid time. He/she must be able to load and unload about three hundred laundry bags, which can weigh anyhere from two to seventy pounds, and also be efficient at doing so independently. An orientation and introduction to the specific requirements of each of the Company's clients is provided.

Pay is a base rate of $10.00 per hour. On completion of the full term of the contract, and if the vehicle is returned undamaged, a retroactive bonus of * $2.00 per hour will be paid for every hour worked.
